Iranian ‘Sleeping Time’ to head to Sandy Dennis filmfest

Iranian short title ‘Sleeping Time’ (Saat-e Khab) has made it to the Sandy Dennis Film Festival in the US.

Mina Sadat-Hosseini’s ‘Sleeping Time’ will be screened at the 3rd edition of the US event, the Iranian Youth Cinema Society reported.

Written by Bahman Abdollahi, ‘Sleeping Time’ narrates the story of a woman called Roya.

She has been put in a situation where she is losing her husband, daughter and job, a synopsis for the film reads.

The film’s participation at the Sandy Dennis Film Festival marks its sixth international appearance.

The 3rd edition of the Sandy Dennis Film Festival will be held in the state of Nebraska on September 11-13.
